Pilot trainig in Turkey

As the Turkish partner in the Cyber Safe Senior project, we successfully conducted our pilot training session on March 18, 2026, in Cerrah Village, İnegöl District, Bursa Province.

During our pilot training, we gathered with participants aged 65 and older to conduct a comprehensive training program covering cybersecurity, deepfake scams, SMS scams, and financial investment scams.

Participants were informed about safe internet usage, online fraud methods, personal data security, and measures to take against digital threats, while also gaining practical skills they can use in their daily lives.

Thanks to this pilot session, we extended the project’s impact to the rural areas!

Through this pilot program, the effectiveness of the training content developed in line with the target group’s needs was tested, and it contributed to helping older adults navigate the digital world more safely and consciously.
