Information campaign and workshop in Greece
On 27 March 2026, within the framework of Innovent 2026, the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) successfully organised a Cyber Safe Senior Information Day and Workshop.
The event focused on supporting educators and participants in strengthening digital skills for seniors while raising awareness around key cybersecurity topics. Participants explored safe internet use, digital threats, online scams, and personal data protection, gaining practical tips that can be applied in everyday life.
Through this activity, we brought together participants from different age groups and took another important step towards building a more digitally aware, resilient, and secure society. Together, we move forward in building a safer, more inclusive, and digitally confident society for all generations.
In addition to the Information Day and workshop, some participants also joined the session “Cyber-readiness in Action: Assessment in Real-World Conditions”, further reinforcing their knowledge through hands-on insights and real-life scenarios.
The Cyber Safe Senior Virtual Lessons Platform was also introduced, highlighting how it can be effectively used as a learning and training resource for educators and adult learners.
