A type of malware that impersonates legitimate software to infiltrate a user’s device.

Once installed, they open access to the device, allowing other malware to be installed, spying on users and stealing sensitive information.

Trojans often spread through social engineering techniques such as phishing and fake websites that entice the user to download the malicious file.
