Cyber Safe Senior – Workpackage 3 in Full Swing!
In the Cyber Safe Senior project, partners are hard at work on Workpackage 3, which focuses on developing innovative modules and analyzing real-life scenarios (improv cases) to enhance the digital safety of seniors.
The module content covers key areas such as:
✔️ Cybersecurity basics: protecting computers, email, and personal data
✔️ Common online scams targeting seniors
✔️ Safe use of social media and sharing personal information
✔️ Online banking and shopping safety
The improv cases address current online threats, including: Investment fraud, Online shopping scams, Charity scam, Subscription scam, Attacks on Wi-Fi networks, Digital currency scams, Phishing (data theft via fake messages), Grandparenting scam, Service scams, Deepfake scams
The goal? To ensure the safe digitalization of seniors and protect them from increasingly sophisticated online threats.
