Online safety tips for the holidays

🏖️📱 Seniors, be careful online – including during the vacations! 🌞💻

The vacations are a time of rest, travel and joy. But it’s also a time when online scammers are especially active. So remember some online safety rules – even on vacation!

🧳 Don’t brag publicly about your trip – it’s better not to announce online that you’re away.

📵 Don’t connect to unsecured Wi-Fi – such as in hotels, cafes or train stations. These can be traps for data theft.

💸 Beware of “super bargains” – overly cheap tours, tickets or accommodations found online can be a scam.

🔒 Secure your phone and computer with a password – if lost, no one should have access to your data.

📸 Be careful what you post – vacation photos are best uploaded after you return 😊

🛑 If you have doubts, don’t click, don’t respond, don’t pay. It’s better to ask relatives or specialists.

Security does not take a vacation! 🌐👴👵 Be vigilant – and enjoy the vacations without stress!
