The vacations are a time of rest, travel and joy. But it’s also a time when online scammers are especially active. So remember some online safety rules – even on vacation!
Don’t brag publicly about your trip – it’s better not to announce online that you’re away.
Don’t connect to unsecured Wi-Fi – such as in hotels, cafes or train stations. These can be traps for data theft.
Beware of “super bargains” – overly cheap tours, tickets or accommodations found online can be a scam.
Secure your phone and computer with a password – if lost, no one should have access to your data.
Be careful what you post – vacation photos are best uploaded after you return ![]()
If you have doubts, don’t click, don’t respond, don’t pay. It’s better to ask relatives or specialists.
