Imagine this situation:
You receive a phone call.
The person on the line introduces themselves as an employee of a government office.
They say:
“We are calling about an issue with your records. If this is not resolved today, you may lose your benefits / social assistance / health insurance.
We just need a few of your personal details or a small fee to process the case.”
The caller sounds polite, but urgent.
They insist that action is needed immediately.
What would you do?
A) Give the information right away to avoid problems
B) Say you will contact the office yourself and hang up
C) Write down the details and ask them to call again later
