Training Program for educators now available!
We are pleased to announce that the project website now offers a Training Program for teachers and trainers dedicated to educating seniors about cybersecurity and safe Internet use. 
The program includes workshops, lesson scenarios, and educational materials designed to support educators in delivering high-quality training for older adults on safe online behaviour.
The Training Program provides trainers with:
knowledge about the most common online threats,
methodologies for working with seniors,
practical tools and exercises to use during workshops.
The program prepares educators not only to explain the basic concepts of cybersecurity, but also to conduct interactive sessions based on real-life scenarios that reflect the actual digital threats seniors may encounter in everyday life.
An important complement to the training program is the set of interactive “Improve” case studies, developed using the Genially platform.
These scenario-based activities are directly connected to the themes of the training modules and simulate real digital situations that seniors may face on a daily basis. Thanks to this approach, participants can practice identifying threats and making safe decisions in realistic contexts.
The program includes modules such as:
Module I – Cybersecurity Basics
protection of computers, email accounts, and personal data, smishing, and safe use of public Wi-Fi
Module II – Common Online Scams Targeting Seniors
including the “grandchild scam” and fake charity frauds
Module III – Safe Online Banking and Shopping
phishing, online shopping scams, fake investments, and “quick profit” schemes
Module IV – Safe and Responsible Use of Social Media
threats such as deepfakes and online service scams
Module V – Safe Digitalisation of Seniors
a cross-cutting approach to building digital competences and cybersecurity awareness
The Training Program can be downloaded free of charge from the project website.
We encourage teachers, trainers, and educators to use these materials and support seniors in developing safe and confident digital skills.
